Its Zapata Chic By A Nose In G.C.F.A. Dutchman Stakes
FREDRICKSBURG, TX—JULY 20, 2019—Zapta Chic, under jockey Luciano Duenez, defeated Classy Seis by a nose Saturday in the $11,500 G.C.F.A. Dutchman Stakes (not black type) at the Gillespie County Fairground. Monza was a neck back to get third in the blanket finish.
Saddled by trainer Inez Delacruz, Zapata Chick completed the 350 yards in :18.101 seconds to get her second career win in six starts. Delfino Lozano IV bred the Jumpn Chic 5-year-old mare in Texas from the Mr Jess Perry mare Eyeing Miss Perry.
She rewarded backers with $15.80 to win, $7.60 to place and $5.60 to show.

Third-place finisher Monza races for owner-breeder Rodrigo Riojas, Jr. and is trained by Angel Sanchez. Jose Martinez had the riding call aboard the gelded son of The Louisiana Cartel from the Hawkinson mare Elenor.
Dynasty Ice 123, Tf Rowdy Cartel, Mister Suave and Barcelonna completed the field.
