AJAX, ONT—OCTOBER 19, 2020—Hanover Hill Theresa got up at the wire to defeat post-time favorite Bogie Wheels by a nose in the $49,055(US) Ontario Sired Stakes Futurity Monday afternoon at Ajax Downs.

Ridden by jockey Cory Spataro, Hanover Hill Theresa completed the 330 yards in :17.585 seconds to pick up the winner's purse valued at $20,228(US). It was the first win in there starts for the Sugarman Perry filly.

"I didn't know much about her,'" said Spataro who was riding Hanover Hill Theresa for the first time. "She was very quiet during the pre-race proceedings and we were lucky enough to have an outside post as there was a bit of kerfuffle with others in the middle. She sailed on by and got up to win, It was a surprise to me but a welcomed one."

A homebred racing for owner-breeder Picov Cattle Co, the bay filly from Ethoria , a thoroughbred daughter of Demaloot Demashoot, is conditioned by trainer Joe Tavares.
