NORMAN, OK—NOVEMBER 11 2019—Coming off a win in the Grade 1 $344,571 Texas Classic Derby at Lone Star Park Saturday, AQHA Racing Champion Flying Cowboy 123 arrived at Bob Moore Farms near Norman, Oklahoma on Sunday to begin his stallion career in 2020.

"We thank Paragon Farms for sending Flying Cowboy 123 to Bob Moore Farms," said Farm Manager Phillip Stewart. "Everybody's been asking, so we have set his stud fee at $5,500. We've got a long list, so if you're interested, better call quick."

Flying Cowboy 123 closed out his illustrious racing career Saturday night by becoming only the third horse in history to win the Texas Classic Futurity(G1) and Texas Classic Derby(G1). Leading sire Mr Jess Perry won the Texas Classic Futurity and Derby in 1994 and 1995 and champion sire Pyc Paint Your Wagon the 2005-2006 Texas Classic editions.

The son of leading sire Apollitical Jess won or placed in 11 of 13 career starts while earning $1,045,811. Besides winning the Texas Classic Futurity(G1) and Derby(G1), he was second in the Rainbow Futurity(G1), third in the All American Derby(G1) and 4th in the Ruidoso QH Derby(G1).

He was named AQHA Racing Champion 2-Year-Old Colt of 2018.
