It's A Boy: First Foal by Champion KVN Corona Born

GUTHRIE, OK—JANUARY 7, 2020—The first reported foal from the initial crop of two-time AQHA Racing Champion Kvn Corona was born today (Jan. 7) at Lazy E Ranch in Guthrie Oklahoma to Double Bar S Ranch, LLC.

The brown colt is out of the stakes-placed Streakin La Jolla mare Hi On The List ($85,312), 2nd in the Pat Hayland Memorial Stakes at Los Alamitos Race Course.

Kvn Corona won or placed in 10 of 13 career starts, earning $868,077. Named AQHA Racing Champion 2-Year-Old and 3-Year-Old colt of his generation he won the Ed Burke Million Futurity(G1), PCQHRA Breeders' Futurity(G2), El Primero Del Ano Derby(G3O, was second in the Los Alamitos Super Derby(G1) and a finalist in the Ruidoso Derby(G1).

Heritage Place sale goers will get a chance to see the first Kvn Corona colt next week.

The colt is consigned to the 2020 Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale in Oklahoma City and will sale as Hip 199 on Thursday, from the Lazy E Ranch, LLC Agent for Double Bar S Ranch, LLC consignment.

His second dam, stakes-placed Hiclass Cloned by Royal Quick Dash, is the dam of 6 winners including stakes winner and multiple stakes sire Hi Class La Jolla ($349,118), a full sibling to the first dam. The third dam is Heritage Place Futurity(G1) winner Hi Class Girl, by Zevi (TB), a multiple stakes producer including Heritage Place Futurity(G1) winner A Chick Of Class, etc.
