Multiple Stakes Sire One Valiant Hero Purchased by Highpoint Performance Horses

Multiple stakes sire One Valiant Hero SI 101, whose runners have earned more than $2.85 million, has been purchased by Highpoint Performance Horses and will stand the 2027 breeding season at the Pilot Point, Texas, facility.

The 2011 sorrel son of leading sire Valiant Hero SI 105 will stand for a fee of $1,500, plus shipping. One Valiant Hero is enrolled in Future Fortunes and Tomorrow's Legends and is an Accredited Texas Bred stallion.

From eight crops to race, One Valiant Hero has sired 11 stakes winners, six stakes-placed runners and earners of $2,851,846, with average earnings of $20,666 per starter. His progeny include two graded stakes winners and 12 runners with speed indexes of 100 or higher.

His leading performer is multiple graded stakes winner Love Is Everything V SI 103, an earner of $334,734. The gelding has won eight races, including the Oklahoma Derby-G3, Mr Master Bug S.-G3, Rainbow Quarter Horse Invitational S. and Jack Brooks S.

One Valiant Hero is also the sire of One Valiant Love SI 99, winner of the Heritage Place Juvenile S. and runner-up in the Rainbow Futurity-G1, with earnings of $190,364; and One Little Liar SI 106, winner of the West Texas Derby-G3 and Four Corners Futurity, with earnings of $179,542.

Other six-figure earners by One Valiant Hero include You Buy I Fly V SI 105, an eight-time winner of $147,371 and winner of the Devil His Due S., and One Slick V SI 101, winner of the Rainbow Invitational S. and runner-up in the All American Invitational S., with earnings of $102,215.

His leading runners also include stakes winner A Valiant Diamond SI 104, winner of the Mystic Lake Northlands Juvenile S. and earner of $79,474.

One Valiant Hero has continued to produce stakes horses in 2026. Through August 18, his runners have earned $257,599 this year, led by two stakes winners and three additional stakes-placed performers. His current 2-year-olds include two stakes winners from 17 starters.

A stakes winner on the racetrack, One Valiant Hero won six of 20 career starts and earned $389,799. He captured the Oklahoma Derby and All American Juvenile Invitational and finished second in the Ruidoso Derby-G1, Bob Moore Memorial S.-G2 and Black Gold 350 Futurity [R].

He was also a finalist in the Robert L. Boniface Los Alamitos Invitational Championship-G1, Leo S.-G1, Oklahoma Futurity-G2, Remington Championship Challenge S.-G2, Eastex S.-G2, Bob Moore Memorial S.-G2 and Black Gold Futurity Championship [R]-G3.

One Valiant Hero is by CHAMPION SIRE Valiant Hero SI 105, winner of the Texas Classic Futurity-G1 and earner of $668,633. Valiant Hero has established himself as one of the breed's leading sires, with progeny earnings exceeding $32.7 million and 67 stakes winners, including champions Feature Hero SI 99, Ima Fearless Hero SI 92 and Sass Me Blue SI 94, along with million-dollar earners Houdini SI 105, First Valiant Sign SI 99 and Sam Crow SI 103.

One Valiant Hero is out of the winning Feature Mr Jess mare Smiles All Around SI 94. His second dam, Shades of Perfection SI 91, is a half-sister to All American Futurity-G1 winner Elans Special SI 98, an earner of $1,186,540. The family also includes multiple graded stakes winner One Special Shade SI 107, an earner of $368,927.

One Valiant Hero SI 101 will stand the 2027 breeding season at Highpoint Performance Horses, 11015 Cole Road, Pilot Point, Texas 76258. His fee is $1,500, plus shipping.
