Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale kicked off its 2024 sale on Friday at the Ruidoso Horse Sale Pavilion in Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico.

RUIDOSO, NM—AUGUST 31, 2024—StallioneSearch.com continues its webcast coverage of the All American Weekend from Ruidoso Downs, with recap coverage of the top sellers from first-session of the 2024 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale.

On this episode, StallioneSearch was on hand to capture footage of the top three-selling yearlings from the opening session of the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale.  A total of 12-yearlings exceed the $200,000-mark.

The first session of the two-day sale concluded with 158 horses selling for a total of $11,134,000, a 46% increase over last year's first-session gross with 17 less horses selling. The average price was $70,468, a 30% increase over the 2023 opening session, and the median also rose, from $40,000 to $42,000.
