Lone Star Park Announces Texas Racing Commission Coggins Directive

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX–OCTOBER 11, 2024–Per Texas Racing Commission directive dated October 10, 2024:

a. All Horses. Effective immediately, Lone Star Park will require all owners/trainers with horses entering or leaving the stable gate to present a current Coggins test health certificate on VS-10-11, Official Identification of Equine Tested dated within the past twelve (12) months for EIA to racetrack association staff who are required to photocopy the certificate and store a copy within the racing office records as set out in 16 TAC 319.110. Lone Star Park may require more recent certificates be presented for entry onto the grounds.

b. TAHC Quarantined Horses. All owners/trainers for horses currently under quarantine orders from TAHC are required to turn in the VS-10-11, to the racing office no later than 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2024.

c. Stabled Horses. All owners/trainers for horses currently stabled at the track will turn in a copy of the current Coggins test health certificate on VS-10-11 form to the racing office no later than Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
