Last Eleven Races On Thursday Postponed, Including Four Trials For American Paint Classic

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–APRIL 11, 2025–Remington Park has canceled the last 11 races of its 12-race card Thursday night, including the postponement of four trials for the American Paint Classic Futurity, that were to determine finalists for that stakes finale on Friday, April 25.

“With an abundance of caution, Remington Park management has made the decision to cancel the remainder of tonight’s racing program,” said Matt Vance, Remington Park executive vice president of racing.

The trials for the futurity will be rescheduled.

For those who made wagers on tickets that were still pending will receive the following:

Daily Double – the winner of the first race, No. 3, with all in the second race will return $17.20 for those who held live tickets. The Pick 5 wager, started in race one, is a refunded wager. All other wagers made on races from the second race on will receive refunds.

Remington Park is scheduled to continue racing Friday-Sunday, April 11-13. The first race nightly 6pm. Sunday racing begins at 4pm. All times are Central.

Remington Park has provided more than $377 Million to the State of Oklahoma general education fund since the opening of the casino in 2005. Located at the junction of Interstates 35 & 44, in the heart of the Oklahoma City Adventure District, Remington Park presents year-round simulcast racing and casino gaming. The 2025 American Quarter Horse Season, features the $868,455 Remington Park Futurity on Saturday, April 19. Must be 18 or older to wager on horse racing or enter the casino gaming floor.
