Remington Park resumed racing on Saturday night with a full card and has scheduled a makeup race day on Wednesday, April 23, replacing Friday's canceled card.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–APRIL 12, 2025–Remington Park has scheduled a makeup race day on Wednesday, April 23, with a first post time of 6 p.m.

This will replace the full race card that was lost Friday, April 11 when management decided it was best to continue maintenance on the racetrack, seeking the best racing surface possible.

“After collaboration with the horsemen and jockeys, we are postponing (Friday’s) races,” said Matt Vance, Remington Park executive vice president, when racing was canceled Friday. “This action will allow more time for ongoing efforts to prepare the racing surface to the satisfaction of all who compete at Remington Park.”

Live racing continued Saturday night with a full card. Sunday is Extreme Race Day with all kinds of animals on hand to run races and be petted by a plethora of fans who pack the park on this day. There will be Clydesdales, zebras, camels, ostriches and pigs on hand for the public to view. There will be plenty of food trucks and booths for people to enjoy during the special afternoon as well. First race Sunday is 4pm-Central.
