CLAREMORE, OK—NOVEMBER 14, 2025—Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs wrapped its 2025 Quarter Horses season on Tuesday, closing out another successful chapter that saw an overall increase in wagers and attendance.

The Claremore track saw a total of 276 total races ran from September 8 through November 11.  There were 231 Quarter Horse races, while 45 were made up of mixed (Paint and Appaloosa) horses. The season concluded with more than $4.5 million in wagers, up 8% from 2024 thanks to an increase in on-track handle, reflecting strong attendance.

The Supreme Race Horse title is given to a racing American Quarter Horse that during its career earns $500,000 or more, wins two or more open Grade 1 stakes races, and at least 10 races.

The 2026 racing calendar offers the same number of race days as 2025. Racing would be conducted primarily on Thursdays and Saturdays at 5 p.m. central and Sundays and holidays at 1 p.m. Additional race dates include Monday, May 25, Friday, July 3 and Wednesdays, July 22 and Sept. 16. A nine-day break is also proposed from July 13 to 21.
