OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—OCTOBER 24, 2025—Heritage Place officials remind prospective buyers that online bidding registration for the 2025 Heritage Place 48th annual Fall Mixed Sale will close Tuesday, October 28 at 5 p.m. (CST).
The three-day sale will be held October 30–31 and November 1 at Heritage Place in Oklahoma City, featuring a wide selection of Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred consignments, including yearlings, broodmares, stallions, and race prospects.

OPELOUSAS, LA–OCTOBER 21, 2025–Quarter Horse trainer Jose Carrizales has come a long way in the past seven years.
The 29-year-old horseman was born in Kaufman, Texas, and travels back and forth from there to run horses at each of the Louisiana tracks.
"When I first began training in 2018, I wasn’t sure how long it would take to win big races and have some stakes-level horses in my barn," said Carrizales. "I just felt that if I worked hard, everything would take care of itself."
