EG High Desert Farms announced today that Tabasco Jes SI 91, the homebred son of champion sire Hawkinson, will begin his stallion career at the Santa Clarita farm in 2025. His fee has been set at $2,500.

Bred and owned by EG High Desert Farms, Tabasco Jes won or placed in three of six starts at Los Alamitos Race Course. He broke his maiden in the 2023 Golden State Million Futurity trials.

His sire, AQHA Racing Champion Hawkinson SI 99, is a multiple Grade 1 winning son of all-time leading sire First Down Dash. Hawkinson has sire 36 stakes, 1 champion, and 397 winners with nearly $12 million in earnings.
