Wahenes Patriot will stand the 2025 season at Double LL Farm in New Mexico.

BOSQUE, NM–NOVEMBER 14, 2024–Double LL Farm announces that three-year-old stallion Wahenes Patriot will be standing his second year at stud at the New Mexico Farm. His fee is set at $2,000 for the 2025 season, with considerations given to approved mares.

Bred in New Mexico by Dirk Jones, Wahenes Patriot was one of the top five sellers in the 2022 Ruidoso New Mexico Bred Yearling Sale. Owner Mike Parker purchased the son of stakes-winning sire Jet Black Patriot for $77,000. He is out the Broodstone Bay mare Wahene Kai.

His sire, Jet Black Patriot, was a Grade 1 winner on the track, earning $876,921. He has sired 13 crops of racing age, 442 winners, and 74 black-type horses with money earners over $20 million and nearly $28,000 average per starter.

Wahenes Patriot is a half-brother to stakes winners and New Mexico Hi-Point Fillies Chicky Chicky Kai SI 103 ($205,369) and Wahene Version SI 109 (179,600).

His dam, Wahene Kai, is a full sister to stakes winner Pk Bay SI 101 ($198,352) and a half-sister to winners Lulai Peku SI 97 ($54,292), Pk Jr SI 90 ($25,400), and Get Pk Down SI 92 ($21,971).

His second dam is Pk Rainbow by Grade 1 winner Rabbits Rainbow. She is a half-sister to New Mexico Hi-Point Three-Year-Old Gelding Pakea Bay SI 102 ($132,543).
