Multiple G1 West Coast Finalist Hot Prodigy To Bob Moore Farms

NORMAN, OK–JANUARY 9, 2025–Bob Moore Farms announced today that multiple Grade 1 finalist Hot Prodigy SI 95 has joined the stallion ranks for 2025. The son of leading sire Apollitical Jess is homebred for owner-breeder Fulton Quien Sabe Ranches.

Hot Prodigy's fee has been set at $2,500. However, breeders who pay in full by February 15 can take advantage of a $500 discount to $2,000. Black-type mares and multiple mare discounts will also be available.

"When we bred Pandorum to Apollitical Jess , I prayed that the Lord would bless us with a stud colt," said Merle Fulton of Fulton Quien Sabe Ranch. Our prayers were answered on February 4th, 2021, and Hot Prodigy was born."

"As he grew up and started his racing career God’s hand was constantly upon him and us, helping us make the right decisions for him. Again, our prayers were answered, and we are excited for Hot Prodigy’s next chapter," Merle continued.

Hot Prodigy won or placed in seven of 11 starts and earned $110,663. He was a finalist in the Golden State Million Futurity(G1), Ed Burke Million Futurity(G1), and Sgt Pepper Feature Handicap at Los Alamitos Race Course.

His sire, world champion Apollitical Jess SI 107 ($1,399,831), a multiple leading sire, has sired 147 stakes winners, 13 champions, and 769 winners in 12 crops to race. They have nearly $75.5 million.

Apollitical Jess' top performers include Kj Desparado SI 118 (champion twice, to 5, 2024, $3,270,109, All American Quarter Horse Futurity-G1, etc.), Empressum SI 111 (World Champion Racing American QH, to 6, 2024, $2,458,873, Champion of Champions S.-G1, etc.), Apocalyptical Jess SI 103 (champion 3 times, $2,251,556, All American Futurity-G1, etc.), Apollitical Blood SI 99 (champion, $1,519,800, All American Derby-G1, etc.), etc.

Hot Prodigy's dam is the Grade 3 winning Tres Seis mare Pandorum SI 109 ($70,347), who set a new track record for 350 yards in 17.326 seconds at Sam Houston Race Park.

She is the dam of 7 ROM winners, 4 black type and 4 grade 1 including two-time champion Hotstepper SI 98 (7 wins, $1,336,359, All American Derby-G1, etc.), Grade 1 winner Hotsempting SI 99 (7 wins, $682,739, Ruidoso QH Derby-G1, etc.), Ed Burke Million Futurity(G1) runner-up In Hott Pursuit SI 93 (3 wins at $2558,112), stakes-placed Hott Temptation Si 92 ($85,662 at 2, 2024), multiple G1 finalist Hot Prodigy SI 95 (see above), All American Futurity(G1) finalist Caliente Carmelo SI 96 ($97,867 to 3, 2022), etc.

His second dam is stakes-placed Daring Diversion SI 98, by Strawfly Special, a half-sister to stakes winner Ethics Aside SI 106 ($99,644, multiple stakes sire), stakes winner Sweet Oblivion SI 110 ($55,704) and G3-placed Splendifferous SI 104 ($73,231).

His third dam is Heritage Place Futurity(G1) winner Daring Difference SI 102 ($329,000).

This is the family of world champion and champion sire Special Leader SI 103 ($292,605) and champion sire Mr Eye Opener SI 106 ($202,978).
