Spring Hill Farms Lowers San Lorenzo's Stud Fee

KAPLAN, LA–APRIL 8, 2025–Spring Hill Farms, where Grade 1 winning millionaire and first-crop stakes sire San Lorenzo SI 105 stands, has announced it is lowering the stud fee on the horse to $2,750. The original fee was $4,000.  Breeders can also take advantage of multiple mare discounts.

San Lorenzo's first crop began racing last month, and from only 12 starters, he is already a Grade 1 Quarter Horse stakes-placed sire.

San Vandido SI 94 (winner at 2, $37,657) was third in the Grade 2 $346,566 Louisiana Downs Futurity last month. He is also the sire of Old Habits New Tricks SI 88 (winner at 2, $40,349), runner-up in the Grade 1 $215,800 Oklahoma Paint and Appaloosa Futurity at Remington Park.

Bred by Jim and Natalie Montgomery and campaigned by Rogelio Marquez, Jr., San Lorenzo won five of seven career starts, including the $1,000,000 LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity(G1) and the $1,025,782 Lee Berwick Futurity(RG1), the richest Quarter Horse race ever run in Louisiana.
