BREAUX BRIDGE, LA–OCTOBER 29, 2025–Robicheaux Ranch announced today that champion sire Apollitical Blood will return home to stand the 2026 season at the Breaux Bridge operation. His fee is set at $10,000.

“Today is an exciting day,” said Ryan Robicheaux, who officially announced the news. “It was hard when he left, but we’ve made some great additions to the stallion lineup since then, and now, with ‘Blood’s’ return, we’re so excited about the group we’ve put together for the 2026 breeding season.”

From seven crops to race, Apollitical Blood has sired more than $18.2 million in progeny earnings, including 301 winners, 82 black type runners, and an average of $42,500 per starter.

His reach extends across every major quarter race track, but his strongest influence has remained in Louisiana, where his offspring have repeatedly dominated the state’s signature futurities and derbies.

Consistently ranked among the top leading sires, Apollitical Blood has sired high-performing runners from every crop to race, with major graded stakes winners in several states, including Oklahoma, Texas, California, and New Mexico. Still, many of his most accomplished offspring have come through the Louisiana Bred Program, where he continues to rank among the top stallions year after year.

Among his leading earners are the Apollitical Patty SI 99 ($1,243,263, 1st Los Alamitos 2 Million Futurity-G1, Los Alamitos Oaks-G3), Blood Money SI 101 ($1,123,142, 1st LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity-G1, Lee Berwick Futurity-G1, Laddie Futurity), Trump My Record SI 104 ($979,068, AQHA Racing Champion Two-year-old Gelding, 1st Texas Classic Futurity-G1, Sam Houston Futurity-G2, Harrah's Futurity-G3, Firecracker Derby-G3), Rf Fast Dash N Blood SI 102 ($722,989, 1st LQHBA Sale Futurity-G1, Louisiana Bred Laddie Futurity-G2, Lee Berwick Memorial Louisiana Bred Futurity), Candy Blood SI 108 ($496,640, 1st Dee Raper Sooner State S.-G1, Holiday H., Z Wayne Griffin Directors H.), and San Lorenzo Moon SI 92 ($375,118, 1st LQHBA Sale Futurity-G1, Louisiana Juvenile S.).

“We want to thank Royal Vista Ranch for such excellent care of ‘Blood’ these past two years,” said Robicheaux. “We also want to thank the Tirado family and Rancho El Cabresto for their continued trust and for deciding to bring him back home to Louisiana.”

Apollitical Blood’s impact reaches beyond the racetrack and into the sales ring, where his yearlings remain highly sought after. His foals regularly average between $30,000 and $45,000, with his 2025 crop averaging $36,400 from 59 sold.

As a racehorse, Apollitical Blood was every bit as impressive as his progeny have proven to be. He won the All American Derby-G1 and finished second in the Golden State Million Futurity-G1 while earning $1,519,800 and the title of AQHA Champion Three-Year-Old Colt.

Apollitical Blood is the top money earner standing at stud by leading living sire Apollitical Jess, who recently surpassed the $80 million mark in progeny earnings. Out of the multiple stakes-winning and champion-producing Brazilian Dasher, a three-quarter sister to world champion sire FDD Dynasty ($1,173,001), Apollitical Blood’s pedigree continues to carry exceptional influence in the breed.

Apollitical Blood will stand the 2026 season at Robicheaux Ranch and is eligible for the Louisiana Bred Program, Black Gold, Texas A&M Legends, OQHRA Auction, and Diamond Classic.
