Undefeated One Fabulous Dynasty won the $21,000 Bucking Horse Sale Futurity on Sunday at Miles City.

MILES CITY, MT – MAY 21, 2023 – Undefeated in two starts, One Fabulous Dynasty pulled away to win the $21,000 Powder River Outfitters/Roy Rogers Bar and Grill Bucking Horse Sale Futurity in Miles City on Sunday afternoon.

Four trials on May 7 determined the field for the 250-yard, 8-horse final.

One Fabulous Dynasty ($10.00) and jockey Ezekiel Barron broke well from the seven post and defeated Y O Fifty Concerts by three-quarters of a length. The final time of :13.831 earned a winner an 80 speed index.

One Fabulous Dynasty won his trial and was the second fastest overall qualifier. The colt is trained by Bob Johnson for owners Deanna Anderson and Casey Foster. Bob and Gary Johnson bred One Fabulous Dynasty in South Dakota, by One Fabulous Eagle and out of Diva Dynasty, by Fdd Dynasty.

One Fabulous Dynasty added the winner’s share of $10,500 to his lifetime earnings on Sunday.

Fastest qualifier and post-time favorite Y O Fifty Concerts made up ground in the race and finished second from the outside post. Shaunda Larsen, who rode the gelding in his trial, returned to ride in the final for trainer Jess Matt.

Gerald Kaul owns and bred the Fiftyshadezofgrey gelding in Wyoming out of Concert Ticket, by Adashofjess.

Bhr Flashing Nickers, also trained by Bob Johnson, finished in third place; Larren Delorme had the riding call.

Bhr Flashing Nickers is a South Dakota homebred for Broken Heart Ranch, by One Mean Eagle and out of the stakes winning mare Bhr Guys Flash Me, by Cs Flashlight.

The filly dueled and finished second in her trial and career debut and was the fifth fastest qualifier.

Completing the field were Come Together, Eyesa Fast One, Moon Em N Dash, Shooter Zoom.
