CLAREMORE, OK–SEPTEMBER 18, 2023–Sky Sir, under jockey Roman Cruz, got the nod at the wire over Chicks Dig Tate to win the $37,275 Cricket Bars Futurity(G1) for -2-year-old Appaloosas at Will Rogers Downs Monday.

Conditioned by trainer Jesus Ruiz, for owner-breeder Reynaldo Ruiz, Sky Sir raced over the 400 yards in :20.200 seconds, qualifying an 87 speed index into a 9 mph crosswind. The race was hand timed.
