EDMONTON, ALB—JUNE 26, 2024—Team Rip 109 made his career debut a memorable one Friday evening when he posted a 5-1/2 length win to post the fastest qualifying time for the John Deere Century Mile Juvenile Challenge at Century Mile Racecourse.

The 10 fastest qualifiers, from three trials contested tonight by AQHA Challenge-enrolled 2-year-olds, will return to the Alberta, Canada racetrack on Saturday, July 20 vying for the winner's share of a $30,000-added purse.

Jockey Amador Hernandez guided Team Rip 109 to a 17.697 clocking, equaling a 104-speed index with a 15 mph tailwind, to get the fastest qualifying time.
