OGDEN, UT—APRIL 29, 2021—Fastest qualifier Mound Valley Eagle, a son of One Fabulous Eagle owned by Eddie and Andrea Jensen and one of four finalists qualified by trainer Riley Moosman, is one of 10 2-year-olds entered back in Saturday’s 300-yard, $107,869 Hadley/Giles Futurity at Weber Downs.
Mound Valley Eagle made his career debut with a clear 1 1/2-length victory in the first of 11 trials on April 17. The Idaho-bred gelding drew post 9 and will be ridden by Jesus Valenzuela.
Moosman will also send out second-fastest qualifier Hear Me Roarr for owner Keith W. Nellesen. A Utah-bred daughter of the Tres Seis stallion Roarr, the filly is coming off of a neck victory in her trial.
Hear Me Roarr drew post 10 and will be ridden by Jesus Canales.
