GRAND PRAIRIE, TX–SEPTEMBER 12, 2023–Open graded stakes winners Motion Of Grace and Jess Flying Cowgirl are among 132 2-year-olds entered in Saturday's 400-yard Dash For Cash Futurity (G2) at Lone Star Park.

Post time for the first of 14 heats is set for 5:05 a.m. (CDT).

A homebred daughter of champion Hes Relentless racing for Francisco Javier Garza, Motion Of Grace has earned $146,657 from five starts in Texas and Louisiana, and her three wins include a three-quarter length victory in the 350-yard, $262,000 Firecracker Futurity (G2) at Delta Downs on July 8. Juan Diaz Jr. trains the gray filly.

Motion Of Grace drew post 3 and will be ridden by Victor Urieta Jr. in the third trial.

Jess Flying Cowgirl races for Juan M. Lozano from the barn of trainer Juan Diaz Jr. A homebred daughter of Flying Cowboy 123, the filly has banked $187,644 from four outs, and her early-season record includes a head victory in the 330-yard, $462,000 Sam Houston Futurity (G2) on June 3.

Jess Flying Cowgirl drew post 6 and will be ridden by Victor Urieta Jr. in the sixth heat.

Other prominent 2-year-olds entered in Saturday's trials include Eyesa Freighttrain B, a son of Freighttrain B who will be making his first start outside Louisiana. Trained by Jose R. Espinosa for owner Party Tyme Racing, the colt is coming off of a Delta Downs campaign during which he earned $258,351 from four races and scored a three-quarter length victory in the 330-yard, $280,000 Louisiana Breeders' Laddie Futurity (RG2) on May 27.

Eyesa Freighttrain B drew the rail post and will be ridden by Everardo Rodriguez in the sixth trial.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the October 7, $400,000-est. Dash For Cash Futurity final.
