PHOENIX, AZ–DECEMBER 24, 2024–Jessaprimadonna, a 6-year-old One Sweet Jess mare leased and trained by Laurie Ferguson, drew the rail post for Saturday's 350-yard, $40,000 Mike Hastings Memorial Stakes for distaffers at Turf Paradise.

Jessaprimadonna will be facing fillies and mares off of her neck victory in the November 29, 300-yard Wayne Brasher Memorial Stakes at Turf Paradise. The mare has won six of her last seven starts, including four stakes in Alberta, Canada.

J.B. Botello will ride Jessaprimadonna.

Other contenders include J Lazy Six Racing's Wicked Cowgirl Smart, a multiple stakes winning sophomore daughter of Flying Cowboy 123 trained by David Williams. The homebred bay filly has earned $78,180 from six outs this year, and her four wins include the March 25, 350-yard AQRA President's Spring Derby at Turf Paradise.

Wicked Cowgirl Smart drew post 6 and will be ridden by Mark Jasso.
