Delta Downs will offer two nights of schooling races this week for 2-year-olds.

VINTON, LA–APRIL 10, 2025–In preparation for the upcoming Delta Downs live Quarter Horse meet, April 23 through July 12, the track will host two nights of “schooling races” for 2-year-olds.

On Thursday, April 10, Delta will host ten non-wagering races, each spanning 220 yards, specifically for fillies who are still eligible for the Old South Futurity and the Lassie Futurity.

On Friday, April 11, Delta will again host ten non-wagering races running 220 yards for colts and geldings eligible for the Old South Futurity and the Laddie Futurity.

Post time for the first race each evening starts at 7:30 p.m. (CST) and ends at 9:45. Results, including individual times, will be posted on StallioneSearch.com as soon as they become available each night.

The trials to the $50,000 added Old South Futurity will take place on April 26 during opening weekend, with the finals scheduled for May 17. Trials to the Lassie and Laddie Futurities, each offering a $75,000 added purse, will run on May 23 and May 24, respectively, with the finals scheduled for May 3.
