EVANSTON, WY–JUNE 26, 2026–Wyoming Downs will close out the weekend on Sunday with an 11-race program beginning at 1:05 p.m., highlighted by the $298,150 307 HR Open QH Futurity. The tenth race of the afternoon will feature ten talented 2-year-olds who earned their spots in the June 13 trial heats.
The finalists will cover 350 yards, with an approximate post time of 2:45 p.m. (MDT), as one of the richest Quarter Horse races of the meet takes center stage.
Sp Sinful Saint has been installed as the 4-1 morning-line favorite following an impressive trial victory. The filly went gate to wire to win her heat by 1¼ lengths and recorded the second-fastest qualifying time. She enters the futurity with three career starts, having previously competed in the Heritage Place Futurity Trials, where she finished fourth.
The daughter of Dulce Sin Tacha is out of the Saint Shackleton mare Echo Creek Canyon and was bred in Utah by Spencer Peterson. She races for Buckway Ranch, LLC, and is trained by Joe M. Davis. She will break from post four, with Angel O. Ramirez making the trip in for the mount.
Cyber Buzz is the 9-2 second choice on the morning line and enters the final with an unbeaten record. The filly has won all four of her career starts, including a one-length victory in her trial, which produced the fastest qualifying time. Earlier this season, she captured the $81,000 Desert Classic Futurity and has already earned $56,927.
Owned and trained by Alex J. Torres-Casas, Cyber Buzz was purchased for just $8,000 at the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale. The daughter of Cyber Monday is out of the Apollitical Jess mare Hunny Bee and was bred in Oklahoma by Thomas J. Scheckel. She will leave from post five with Brandon M. Guevara aboard as she seeks to extend her perfect record to five consecutive victories.
The afternoon's undercard feature comes in the fourth race, the $15,000 307 HR Open Juvenile, where the second-ten fastest qualifiers from the June 13 trials return for another opportunity to compete for stakes money.
With a strong group of emerging 2-year-olds, an unbeaten stakes winner, and nearly $300,000 on the line, Sunday's program at Wyoming Downs features one of the season's most competitive juvenile events. The 307 HR Open QH Futurity should provide an outstanding test as these young runners aim to add a major stakes victory to their resumes.
