ALBUQUERQUE, NM—JULY 2, 2026—Bett The Limit has been reinstated as the winner of the 15th trial to the Grade 1 Rainbow Futurity following a unanimous ruling by the New Mexico Racing Commission during a special meeting held Thursday, earning the colt a spot in the $1,000,000 final on July 12 at The Downs at Albuquerque.
The Commission unanimously overturned the stewards' disqualification from last Saturday's Day 2 trials, restoring Bett The Limit's victory after reviewing an appeal. The colt's winning time of :19.681 makes him the fourth-fastest qualifier from Day 2, securing his place in the Rainbow Futurity final.
Owned by Lane Powers and trained by Rodolfo G. Valles, Bett The Limit, a son of former leading sire Tres Seis, had originally crossed the finish line first but was disqualified and placed second by the stewards, costing him a berth in the Grade 1 final.
As a result of Thursday's ruling, Bett The Limit replaces Crash For Kash among the Rainbow Futurity qualifiers. Crash For Kash will now head the list of qualifiers for the $100,000 Rainbow Juvenile.
