Lone Star Park Reminds Horsemen Of Sept. 2 Nomination Deadline For Two Upcoming Stakes

Lone Star Park is reminding horsemen that nominations close Wednesday, September 2, for two upcoming stakes during the track's 2026 Fall Meeting of Champions, including the $50,000-added Dr. Glenn Blodgett Stakes (RG3).

There is no nomination fee for either race.

The $50,000-added Dr. Glenn Blodgett Stakes (RG3), scheduled for Saturday, September 12, is for accredited Texas-bred Quarter Horses, 3-year-olds and older, competing at 350 yards.

The race is one of the early stakes highlights of Lone Star Park's fall Quarter Horse meeting and provides Texas-bred older horses an opportunity to compete for restricted graded stakes honors.

Also closing Wednesday is the $10,000-added TPHBA Paints & Appaloosa Maiden Juvenile, scheduled for Friday, September 11. The 300-yard event is for 2-year-old Paints and Appaloosas.
