LQHBA Reminds Horsemen of September 15 Payment Deadlines

ALEXANDRIA, LA—September 9, 2026
The Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders Association (LQHBA) is reminding horsemen of two important payment deadlines coming up on Tuesday, September 15, for major 2026 Louisiana-bred stakes programs.
A $13,850 late supplemental payment for the 2026 Louisiana Million Futurity is due September 15.
Also due September 15 is a $600 payment for the 2026 Louisiana Derby and Louisiana Oaks.
The LQHBA also reminded horsemen that Evangeline Downs will open its 2026 Quarter Horse Meet on Friday, October 2.
