Bg Hawks An Eagles continued her winning ways Sunday at Elko County Fair, capturing the $8,900 Western States Paint & Appaloosa Futurity (not black type).

Ridden by Luis A. Collazo for owner and trainer Cesar Luna, Bg Hawks An Eagles broke on top and maintained her advantage throughout the 350-yard event, defeating Bg This Is My Broom by a half-length in :17.948.

The victory was the fourth consecutive win for the 2-year-old APHA filly, who improved her record to 7-4-1-1 with earnings of $17,024.

Bred by Becky Grant, Bg Hawks An Eagles is by Eagle Deluxe and out of the Hawkinson mare Gone By. The chestnut filly was foaled in Idaho.

Bg This Is My Broom ApHC finished second under Jesus Valenzuela for owner Bryan Grant and trainer Wasey Erickson. Also bred by Becky Grant, the filly is by This Is An Eagle and out of the Takin The Cash mare Brooms Cash. She now has a record of 7-1-2-0 with earnings of $6,319.

Rapid Willy APHA finished third under Jayden R. Ironeyes for owner, trainer and breeder Monte Bird. The colt is by Turnpikers Wagon and out of the Bogart's Cat mare Reckless Storm Cat. He now has a record of 3-1-0-2 with earnings of $3,710.

Bg Dream Crusher and Mr Kelly Deluxe completed the order of finish.
