Cd Driftin Da Wagon Flies To Cassia County Fair Maiden Frolic Stakes Victory

Cd Driftin Da Wagon broke sharply and never looked back Saturday afternoon, scoring in the $4,500 Cassia County Fair Maiden Frolic Stakes.

Ridden by Jose Arriola-Serrano, Cd Driftin Da Wagon flew from the gates and quickly established the lead. The three-year-old filly drew away to win by three-quarters of a length, completing the 250 yards in :13.211 for a 99 speed index.

Cd Driftin Da Wagon is owned by Diana Diaz and trained by Ramiro Fregoso. Bred by Daniel and Carol Lee, she is sired by Cd Rockin Da Wagon and out of the Carters Cartel mare Jezabella.

Coming off a finalist effort in the Oneida County Mixed Breed Derby, Cd Driftin Da Wagon improved her record to 11-2-1-1 with earnings of $8,205.

Rr Coronassecretgold crossed the wire in second under Raphael Romero. The three-year-old colt bore in at the start but remained closest to the winner, finishing three-quarters of a length back in :13.318 for a 95 speed index.

Owned by Wade Ward and trained by Tony Hyde, Rr Coronassecretgold was bred by Reliance Ranches LLC. The $6,500 Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale graduate is sired by Hez Our Secret and out of the Corona Cartel mare Giving Freely.

Coming off a fourth-place finish in the Oneida County Mixed Breed Derby, Rr Coronassecretgold now has a record of 9-2-1-1 with earnings of $15,617.

Cartell Prince finished third under Carlos Lorta. The three-year-old gelding raced third throughout and was bumped during his late effort, completing the distance in :13.536 for an 86 speed index.

Owned and bred by Cinda and Rod Thomas and trained by Luis Gomez, Cartell Prince is sired by Big Daddy and out of the Freighttrain B mare Lil Orange Princess. He now has a record of 12-1-3-5 with earnings of $12,994.

Earlier this season, Cartell Prince finished third in the Idaho Cup Derby. He was also a finalist in last year's Idaho Cup Futurity.

Spectra finished fourth, followed by Mh Party Girl.
