Rtm Hot Milk Scores Blackfoot Derby Victory

Rtm Hot Milk added another victory to her record Monday, winning the $5,000 Blackfoot Derby (Not black type) at the Eastern Idaho State Fair.

Ridden by Oscar Cervantes for trainer Mark Hanson, Rtm Hot Milk broke best and held off Mister Snickers to win the 350-yard event by a neck in :17.830.

Owned by RTM Stables LLC and bred in Idaho by Susan T. Hanson, the 3-year-old filly is by Kiss My Hocks and out of the Chickie Cherry Cola mare Rtm Say Your Prayers.

Rtm Hot Milk improved her record to 8-6-1-1 with earnings of $45,575. She entered the Blackfoot Derby off a runner-up finish in the Idaho Cup Derby and won the Idaho Cup Futurity last year.

Mister Snickers made a late effort to finish second under Victor Dominguez for owner Delray Talbot and trainer Skyler Greene. Bred by Delray and Dawna Talbot, the gelding is by Five Bar Cartel and out of the TR Dasher mare Kissin Kate Barlow. He has a record of 4-0-2-1 with earnings of $4,350.

Hes Pullin Gs finished third with Jesus Flores aboard for owner, trainer and breeder Dabid Romero. The gelding is by Hes Innocent and out of the Dale Badon mare La Choriada. He finished third in the Bitterroot Derby earlier this season and was also a finalist in the Idaho Cup Derby.

Imm Goin Goin Gone finished fourth, while Bdr Bella Bay lost her rider after ducking in at the start.
