VINTON, LA—MAY 19, 2020—While horsemen representatives, track management and the Louisiana State Racing Commission are finalizing racing dates in the Pelican State, Delta Downs has released a tentative updated stakes schedule.

Updated dates for stakes races include:

• Old South Derby • Trials: 6/10/2020 Finals: 7/3/2020
• Old South Futurity • Trials: 6/11/2020 Finals: 7/4/2020

• Lassie Futurity • Trials: 6/12/2020 Finals: 7/3/2020
• Laddie Futurity • Trials: 6/13/2020 Finals: 7/4/2020

• Firecracker Derby • Trials: 7/24/2020 Finals: 8/15/2020
• Firecracker Futurity Trials: 7/25/2020 Finals: 8/15/2020

• Delta Downs Derby • Trials: 7/30/2020 Finals: 8/22/2020
• Lee Berwick Futurity Trials: 8/1/2020* Finals: 8/22/2020

*If 14 or more trials are carded for the Lee Berwick, the trials would be split and be run over two days on July 31 and August 1.

The track will also host three nights of night-time training this week, from May 21-23 (see related story).
