Champions Danjer and Francisco Calderon return Saturday night after Danjer becomes the first horse to three-peat the Grade 1 Debbie Schauf Remington Park Invitational Championship since world champion Tailor Fit in 2001.

2021 AQHA Racing World Champion Danjer was seeking his third-victory in the $274,630 stakes event, as well as what would be his 12th Grade 1 victory of his career.

Jockey Francisco Calderon and Danjer drew the nine-hole in the starting gate for the 440-yard contest.
