PHOENIX, AZ—OCTOBER 19, 2014—Two trials are carded Monday for the Turf Paradise Maiden Stakes, a 350 yards race for 3-year-old & up maidens as noon the day of entry.

Finals for the $5,000-added race will be held Sunday, November 8 at Turf Paradise.

A Catchy Six has been set as the 8-5 morning-line favorite for the opening trial (Race 1). Jorge Preciado owns the Sixes Royal 3-year-old out of Catch (TB), by Storm Cat. Conditioned by Jose Botello, the filly finished a close third in her last start on April 29th. Rick Oliver will ride.

Martin Lopez' La Chicanita Vip (9-2) will start for trainer Leonard Espinoza. The 3-year-old Excitable Runner filly is out of Annie's Duchess (TB), by My King (TB). Chase Clark has been name to ride the filly that failed to light-the-board in three previous starts at Turf Paradise last spring.

Rudy Ybarra will saddle Kingdom Regard (5-2) in the second trial for owner Rodolfo Romero. The Chicks Regard 4-year-old has placed eight of 16 career starts and earned $20,152. Michael Ybarra will ride.

Also in the second trial will the Heza Fast Dash filly Funyfaceiloveyou (9-2) for owner Edith Bianey Cobos-Alarcon. Leonard Espinoza conditions the eight-time starter who has finished third three times. Chase Clark has been named to ride.
