PORTLAND, OR—-OCTOBER 29, 2014—BH Lisas Boy, a homebred Mighty Invictus gelding owned and trained by Bill Hoburg, will break from post 4 in Sunday’s $12,500-added Far West Futurity at Portland Meadows.
BH Lisas Boy is the fastest qualifier, as the gelding is coming off of a convincing 2 3/4-length victory in the second of four trials on October 19. Javier Matias has been named to ride BH Lisas Boy in Sunday’s final.
Pedro Sanguino’s Cops R Zoomin, the sixth-fastest qualifier, brings has earned $16,499 from five starts. Trained by Jose Sanguino, the chestnut daughter of Shazoomin Star broke her maiden with a neck victory in the May 4, $27,000 Pot O’ Gold Futurity at Sun Downs.
Leonel Camacho-Flores will ride Cops R Zoomin from post 10.
