AJAX, ONTARIO, CANADA—-OCTOBER 8, 2017—Country Boy 123 and One Famous Glass will renew their rivalry in Monday’s 440-yard, $86,800 Alex Picov Memorial Championship Stakes at Ajax Downs.
A 4-year-old son of Country Chicks Man racing for Ruth F. Barbour from the barn of trainer Bryn Robertson, Country Boy 123 is coming off of a one-length victory over One Famous Glass in the 350-yard, $37,000 All Canadian Maturity at Ajax Downs on September 18. The Michigan-bred gelding drew post 5 and will be ridden by Cory Spataro.
One Famous Glass is a 7-year-old One Famous Eagle gelding trained by Bryn Robertson for owners Carol Robertson, Jaime Robertson, and Dr. Charles Hall. One Famous Glass has banked $47,155 this season, and his three wins include a one-length victory over Country Boy 123 in the 440-yard, $54,000 Bank of America Ajax Championship Challenge Stakes on September 3.
One Famous Glass drew post 6 and will be ridden by Tony Phillips.

Had To Be Ivory, a homebred son of Ivory James trained by Bryn Robertson for owners Carol Robertson and Jaime Robertson, will put his undefeated record on the line. The fastest qualifier and 5-2 morning-line favorite, the gelding has won all four of his races, including the July 9, 350-yard John Deere Ajax Juvenile Challenge Stakes, and he has earned $29,126.
Tony Phillips will ride Had To Be Ivory from post 8.
