OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MARCH 21, 2018—The first major futurity stakes night of the season is set for Saturday, March 24 at Remington Park. The Grade 3, $371,200 Oklahoma Futurity headlines the 12-race program, featuring five stakes events total.

Top qualifier Pops Tempting Wagon has been established as the Oklahoma Futurity morning-line favorite, at 2-1 odds, by Remington Park odds-maker Jerry Shottenkirk. The 2-year-old Tempting Dash colt, owned by Gabriel Gutierrez of Tulsa, Okla., put up the best time in the sixth of 12 trials for the Oklahoma Futurity on March 10, crossing the finish in :15.414 for the 300 yards.

Trained by Guillermo Valdivia, jockey Larry Payne qualified Pops Tempting Wagon and has the mount for the final. The connections are attempting their second straight win in the Oklahoma Futurity after scoring with Ima China Rush in 2017.

The Oklahoma Futurity is the longest-running futurity in the sport with the 77th running taking place on Saturday night. The complete Oklahoma Futurity field by post position and program order, with trainer, jockey and morning-line odds:

The Oklahoma Futurity is the eighth race of 12 on Saturday night at Remington Park. The scheduled post time for the race is 9:09pm. The solid undercard also features the following stakes events:
