OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MARCH 31, 20198—As And Js, a stakes winning and graded-placed daughter of leading sire Apollitical Jess, will head a strong field of fillies tonight (Saturday) in the Grade 3 $50,000 Decketta Stakes at Remington Park.

Owner-trainer Leonardo Alcala has named jockey Agustin Silva to ride the 4-year-old mare out of Oklahoma Futurity winner Adolph Tres Knockout by Tres Seis.

The bay mare brings a three-race win streak into the Decketta and is set as the 3-1 morning-line favorite for the 350-yard event.

As And Js won the Oklahoma Horsemen's Mystery Derby at Will Rogers last November then won a trial for the Evangeline Downs Derby to close out her 3-year-old campaign. In her first start of the new year, March 9, she was an unchallenged one-length winner in a $28,000 Allowance at Remington Park.

As And Js has compiled a (14) 5-5-1 record and banked $325,601. She drew outside post #10 in the Deceketta.

Trey Wood will saddle Johnny Trotter's One Sweet Racy (4-1) from post 2. AQHA Racing champion jockey Ricky Ramirez will ride the Grade 1-placed daughter of One Sweet Jess. Second in the All American Derby(G1) at Ruidoso Downs last summer, she will be making her 2018 debut in the Decketta. She has earned $264,267.

AQHA Challenge Distaff(G1) winner Jess Paint Your Lips (8-1) will make her first start since returning from the breeding shed earlier this year. Trainer Stacy Charette-Hill conditions the 5-year-old homebred daughter of multiple stakes sire Jess Louisiana Blue for owner/breeder Michael Pohl. A winner of 7 of 10 starts, she has earned nearly $130,000.
