IDAHO FALLS, ID—JUNE 22, 2018—Silver Jet Dash, a gray son of Bodacious Dash owned and trained by Fredy Olmos, is one of 10 2-year-olds entered back in today’s (Friday) 350-yard, $92,602 Bitterroot Futurity (R) at Sandy Downs.
The fastest qualifier, Silver Jet Dash has won two of his three starts, including the last of five trials on June 8. The colt’s resume includes a third-place finish, a half of a length behind winner Bw de Elegant, in the 330-yard, $28,000 Rocky Mountain Spring Classic Futurity at Pocatello Downs.
Silver Jet Dash drew post 9 and will be ridden by Leonardo Gonzales.
RTM Why Not Me, the 5-2 morning-line favorite, broke her maiden with a 2 3/4-length victory in the first trial. The homebred Coronas Fast Dash filly is trained by Mark Hanson for owner RTM Stables LLC.
RTM Why Not Me drew post 9 and will be ridden by Jesus Canales.
