Zoomin Racer is Morning-Line Choice for Herman Jefferson Stakes

HOBBS, NM—OCTOBER 5, 2018—Zoomin Racer, a 5-year-old Jess Zoomin gelding owned and trained by Jesus Carrete of Albuquerque, is one of eight distance specialists entered in Saturday’s 870-yard, $50,000 Herman Jefferson Stakes (G3) at Zia Park.
The even-money morning-line favorite, Zoomin Racer is coming off of a three-quarter length victory as the 3-5 choice in the July 29, 870-yard AQHA Albuquerque Distance Challenge (G3) at Albuquerque Downs. The gelding drew post 3 and will be ridden by Jansen Melancon.
