Remington To Host Seven Schooling Races on Wednesday

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—FEBRUARY 25, 2019—Remington Park will host seven schooling races, six for 2-year-olds on Wednesday. First post is set for 11:00 a.m. and all races will be contested over 250 yards.

A number of summer sale yearlings will make their debut. Race 4 will include two summer sale graduates and one summer sale repurchase.

Trainer Stacy Charette-Hill will saddle $50,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale repurchase Valiant Lancor for owner/breeder Bollenbach Farms. The son of multiple grade 1 sire Valiant Hero is a full-brother to Rainbow Derby(G1) winner Valiant Rogue. Out of the stakes winning Azoom mare Azoom Babe, Valiant Lancor will start from post 3.

Tres Of Hero, a $57,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate will start from post 6 for trainer James Padgett II and owner Top Roustabout Backhoe Service LLC. The son of leading sire Tres Seis is the first foal from the winning Valiant Hero mare Bp Mariah Home. The second dam is Black Gold Derby winner Bp Southern Mariah, a half-sister to grade 2 winner and multiple stakes sire Cartel Success and four other black type runners.

Owner-trainer Everardo Escamilla-Gonzalez will saddle Cee De Knockout, a $13,000 Heritage Place Yearling graduate in race 4. The gray filly is a sister to Mr Jet Moore Stakes winner Knockemout Capi out of the Eyesa Special mare Eyesa Knockout. The second dam Genuine Knockout, by Special Effort, is the dam of seven black-type including All American Futurity(G1) winner Falling In Love Again.

Charette-Hill will also saddle $26,000 Heritage Place Yearling graduate Astranomical in Race 5 for owner M.C. "Skip" Stucks. The daughter of grade 1 sire Dominyun is out of the Remington Park Futurity(G1) winner Quick Moon Sign by Royal Quick Dash .She is the dam of 24 winners, 7 black-type including stakes winners Midnight Sunlight and Luminaro .

Another Dominyun filly, Piecicle will start in Race 5 from Post 6. Trainer Manuel Campos conditions the $10,000 Heritage Place Yearling graduate for owner Tom Scheckel. Out of the Rare Form mare Rare Pie, Piecicle is a half-sister to All American Derby(G1) winner Too Flash For You.

Determined Queen, a $23,000 Heritage Place Yearling graduate, will start in Race 6 for trainer Trey Wood and owner John Dulce. The Corona Cartel filly out of G3-placed A Lil Know Fact, by Special Task, is a half-sister to five black-type including Grade 3 winner A Lil Tres Seis.
