Eight Aged Oklahoma-Breds Entered in Saturday's Mr Jet Moore Stakes
Regina Laymon's Hooked N Gone will make his first start since the Champion of Champions(G1) in Saturday's $68,000 Mr Jet Moore Stakes (RG2) for Oklahoma-breds at Remington Park.

Eight Aged Oklahoma-Breds Entered in Saturday's Mr Jet Moore Stakes

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–APRIL 45 2024–Regina Laymon's Hooked N Gone, a homebred 4-year-old son of Pyc Paint Your Wagon trained by Eddie D. Willis, will make his season debut in Saturday's 350-yard, $68,000 Mr Jet Moore Stakes (RG2) for Oklahoma-breds at Remington Park.

Hooked N Gone will be making his first start since December 9, when he ran eighth, two lengths behind winner Flash Bak, in American Quarter Horse racing's richest race for older runners, the 440-yard, $750,000 Champion of Champions (G1) at Los Alamitos. The gelding is coming off of a sophomore campaign during which he earned $348,593 from 11 outs and ran third in the sport's richest race for 3-year-olds, the September 3, $1.2-million All American Derby (G1) at Ruidoso Downs.

Hooked N Gone drew the rail post and will be ridden by Justine Klaiber. Other contenders include LS Racing Inc,'s LS Jacks Back and Guns Up Racing's Jess Good Wine. LS Jacks Back is a 5-year-old Corona Cartel gelding trained by John Stinebaugh, and he made his season debut with a half-length victory in the March 16, 250-yard Mighty Deck Three Stakes (RG2) for Oklahoma-breds.

LS Jacks Back drew post 7 and will be ridden by Ricky Ramirez.

Jess Good Wine will be making his 2024 debut off of a 3-year-old season which ended with a wire-to-wire, two-length win in the December 17, $100,000 Hobbs America Derby (G3) at Zia Park. The 4-year-old son of Good Reason SA won two 440-yard stakes during the Ruidoso Downs summer campaign, and he ran second, a neck behind winner Chasing AJ, in the 440-yard, $479,000 Texas Classic Derby (G1) at Lone Star Park.

Jess Good Wine drew post 2 and will be ridden by Bryan Candanosa for trainer Toby Keeton.
