Texas Bred Accreditation Deadline Set December 31

ELGIN, TX—NOVEMBER 6, 2019---The deadline for Texas accreditation with the Texas Quarter Horse Association is December 31.

This is the deadline to accredit yearlings (foals of 2018) at the TQHA member rate of $100 ($150 for non-members). The fee to accredit after December 31 is $500 ($550 for non-members).

Mares that will foal in Texas in 2020 need to be accredited as breeding stock by the December 31 deadline. Broodmare accreditation is $50 ($100 for non-members). Late enrollment after the deadline is $100 ($150 for non-members).

In order for stallion owners to receive awards for 2020 foals, stallions must be accredited and pay the stallion participation fee. The fee for the first half of an enrollment year is $50 ($100 non-member) or $100 for the second half of the year ($150 for non-members). The annual stallion participation fee is January 1-31 ($100/$150 non-member), February 1-April 15 ($100/$200 non-member), April 16-December 31 ($300/$350 non-member) and lifetime participation ($500/$550 non-member).
