Indiana Governor Appoints Three Members To Quarter Horse Advisory Committee

INDIANAPOLIS, IN—NOVEMBER 27, 2019—Indiana’s Governor Eric Holcomb recently made appointments to the state's breed development advisory committees and advisory board within the Indiana Horse Racing Commission.

The governor reappointed Indiana Quarter Horse Breed Development Advisory Committee members consisting of Chris Duke, Lance Finlinson and Randy Thompson.

Finlinson, owner of a promotional advertising company from Greenwood, will continue as the chairman. Duke, a Whiteland resident, has been involved in barrel racing and Quarter Horse racing for more than 15 years. Thompson, from Brazil, has been a part of the family racing business all his life. The members will serve until November 30, 2023, and are responsible for making annual recommendations regarding the Quarter Horse Breed Development Program to the IHRC.

The Indiana Horse Racing Commission ensures that pari-mutuel wagering on horse races in Indiana will be conducted with the highest of standards and the greatest level of integrity.
