GRAND PRAIRE, TX–SEPTEMBER 27, 2022–Opening Night of the Lone Star Park's 2022 Fall Meeting of Champions featured ten trials to determine the field for the Grade 2, $426,500 Dash for Cash Futurity.
The fastest qualifying time of the 94 horses in the trials was set by Tha Duke, an accredited Louisiana-Bred son of the #1 Louisiana first-crop sire Rc Me Leaving You.
Luis Vivanco was in the irons, covering the 400 yards in :19.971 for trainer Raul Rodriguez, Jr. Tha Duke is owned-and-bred by Ashton Elder and Miguel Romero, Jr.
