OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–MAY 30, 2013–Every penny raised will go to Rein In Cancer which supports the Shirley Bowman Nutrition Center at the Stevenson Cancer Center on the OU Medical Center Campus in Oklahoma City.

Additionally Rein In Cancer provides financial assistance for any OQHRA, AQHA, and NCHA members that receive a cancer diagnosis. We are so pleased to partner with Remington Park to raise funds for this Community Service Project said Debbie Schauf, executive director of OQHRA.

Krissy Bamberg and Shawn Witman have assembled a huge selection of donated items for one of the best silent auctions you will attend all year From peacocks to guitars there will be something to everyone.

The silent auction will be open for bidding from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on the Suites Level at Remington Park, and the Live Auction will feature ten special items that will sell promptly at 7 PM. There will also be a number of "Betting on a Cure" T Shirts available for sale in the elevator lobby on the Suites level.

Come early, stay late, food, fun, and beverages will be available in the Eclipse for those who come to help us celebrate the running of the Heritage Place Million Dollar Futurity, the Heritage Place Derby, and the Remington Park Championship. The sixth race on the card will be the "PINK" race this year and all cancer survivors and family members are invited to come to the winners circle for a group photo with the riders. Kristen Williams will sing AMAZING GRACE as the horses approach the gate for the Betting on a Cure purse.
