HOBBS, NM—MAY 12, 2017— Zia Park is seeking applications for both its Track Superintendent and Announcer positions as it gears up for its 13th live race meet commencing September 9.

Interested parties can visit ziaparkcasino.com under the "Careers" section to review the requirements and qualifications required for both positions and may apply on-line.

This year will mark the first live race meet at Zia Park for Matt Crawford, the new Manager of Racing Operations and Racing Secretary. Crawford began the year as Racing Secretary at Sam Houston Race Park and will continue in that position in addition to his duties at Zia Park.

Crawford previously worked in racing management positions at Delta Downs and Hialeah Park.

"I'm excited about joining the Zia Park and Penn National Gaming racing team and looking forward to a successful meet" said Crawford.

Stall Applications for the 56-day mixed thoroughbred/Quarter Horse season are expected to be available shortly.
