Senate Bill's 1971 and 1972 have passed the Texas Senate and will now go to the House.

Senate Bill 1971 will create a purse matching fund from the state's general revenue fund that is expected to increase purses by $25 million. As has been well publicized, the Texas Racing Commission and our industry need legislative action to survive.
