AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE ASSOCIATION—JUNE 7, 2017—The final AQHA Racing National Polls for the month of June were mostly unchanged compared to the previous week, as Zoomin Effortlessly remained atop the rankings for the 3-year-old-and-older horses, and Eagle Jazz maintained his perch on top of the 2-year-old rankings.

Zoomin Effortlessly, winner of the Remington Park Invitational Championship (G1) in Oklahoma City, has been on top of the poll for four consecutive weeks. Eagle Jazz, winner of the Ruidoso Futurity (G1) in a dead heat with No. 4-ranked Uptown Dynasty, has led the poll for three weeks now after debuting in that spot in a tie with Heritage Place Futurity (G1) winner Nymeria, who is now at No. 2.

As summer racing gets into full swing during July at tracks across North America, there should be changes to come. On the 2-year-old scene, Delta Downs will present the Firecracker Futurity (G2) and Retama Park offers the TQHA Sires’ Cup Futurity (RG3) this weekend. It will also be a big weekend for older horses, as No. 3-ranked Bodacious Eagle is entered in the Higheasterjet Handicap (G3) on Saturday at Ruidoso Downs and No. 5-ranked BH Lisas Boy is in the Vessels Maturity (G1) on Sunday at Los Alamitos.
