SELMA, TX—MAY 30, 2018—The 2018 Texas Horse Racing Hall of Fame Gala has been set August 4th at Retama Park in Selma.

The 2018 inductees into the Texas Horse Racing Hall of Fame will include Tom Durant, Jim Helzer, Julianna Hawn Holt, Corey Johnsen, Todd Pletcher and horses Bold Venture (TB) and One Famous Eagle.

Chaplain Mike Bingaman will be the recipient of the JoAnn Weber Distinguished Service Award.

The annual Gala includes cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, gourmet prime rib buffet, a silent auction, Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred racing and valet parking.

This year the Texas Horse Racing Hall of Fame will donate funds to the Texas A&M Foundation to benefit the Equine Initiative.
