2021 Changes To Speedhorse Graham Derby

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—OCTOBER 2, 2020—Speedhorse LLC has announced changes to the 2021 running of the Speedhorse Graham Derby for Three-year-old Paints and Appaloosas.

Traditionally a Derby administered by Speedhorse, the 2021 running of the Speedhorse Graham Derby will be conducted as an Overnight Stakes and will be renamed; The Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Invitational Stakes.

Tentatively scheduled to be ran at Remington Park on March 27th, 2021, The Graham Stakes will continue to be ran at the traditional distance of 350 yards. The 2021 running has a projected Purse of $35,000 Added and Allowance level Oklahoma bred money, if eligible.

The 2021 conversion of the race to an Overnight Stakes means there are NO nomination or sustaining payments due to Speedhorse. Entry fees and Starter fees will be paid to the Horsemen’s Bookkeeper at Remington Park. Deadline for nomination into the Graham Stakes will be posted in Remington Park’s first condition book.

The 2021 Graham Stakes will be limited to 12 starters. Preference will be given to those horses with highest lifetime earnings according to official statistics provided by Equibase.

No nomination fee. $250 to enter, starters to pay an additional $250. 11th and 12th place finishers will receive no purse money.
