ELGIN, TX—APRIL 8, 2021—Sustaining and late nomination payments for the 2021 $1 million-est. Texas Classic Futurity(G1) and the $400,000-est. Texas Classic Derby(G2) are due Saturday, April 15th.

A $400 payment is due April 15, 2021 for nominated horses to remain eligible for the 2021 Texas Classic Futurity(G1). American Quarter Horse foals of 2019 may also late nominate to the futurity for $1000 plus payments to date ($2,250). Trials and finals for the 400 yard race will be contested in the fall of 2021 at Lone Star Park.

A total of 391 horses remain eligible as of April 6th to the 2021 Texas Classic Futurity(G1), Texas' richest Quarter Horse race. CLICK HERE for a list of horses nominated.

Nominators must be a current member of the TQHA at time of nomination, membership dues, if necessary, should be included with nomination.

Completed nomination blanks must be postmarked and mailed no later than January 15, 2021 to: Texas Quarter Horse Association, 14 N. Main, Suite B, Elgin, TX 78621.

The remaining 2021 payment schedule for the Texas Classic Series:

• April 15, 2021 / $400 – Late nomination $1,000 plus payments to date ($2,250)
• May 15, 2021 / $400 – Late nomination $2,000 plus payments to date ($3,650)
• June 15, 2021 / $400 – Late nomination $3,000 plus payments to date ($5,050)
• July 15, 2021 / $400
• At Time of Entry $1,200* - $50,000 Supplemental nominations + all fees due at "Time of Entry" to trials.
